40 Million XRP is Said to Transfer to Former Executive’s Account

[ChainDD report] November9 (ChainDD) According to xrpcharts.ripple.com, a website tracking transaction of Ripple (XRP), more than 40.89 million XRP was transferred to an account through a payment transaction on November 7, 2018 4:47 PM UTC.

Some cryptocurrency outlets quoted the people from XRP community that the receiving account is owned by XRP operator Ripple’s former CTO Jed McCaleb. A member of the community even guessed if the big deal is true, XRP dump and pump will be coming.

ChainDD noted that McCaleb is said to be the real creator of the once largest Bitcoin exchange and now defunct Mt. Gox. He is also a co-founder and CTO of Stellar. In January 2018, New York Times reported that McCaleb held a large amount of XRP valued about $20 billion.

According to ChainDD’s market tracking tool, XRP to USDT on Binance declined more than 3.6% over the past 24 hours.
